- how much an artwork is worth today and what will it be worth in 10 years without being
  too optimistic,
- what is te fair market value - the replacement value
- what are the possibilities for a quick resale
- advise for splitting up a collection for heritance, divorce
- advise for creating an art collection, where to begin etc etc

  1. An art & auction concierge is available to respond the multiple demands of collectors and starting a collection amateurs. There are so many scandals out there about fake or stolen fine art that I will advise to consult with a specialist before to invest your hard earned money.
    Just some sample who explains perfectly that even very famous and reputable galleries can be the target of thieves:
    http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/17/arts/design/art-dealer-admits-role-in-selling-fake-works.html
    80 M $ of fake Rothko, De Kooning etc
    another NY article about an even more reputable collector;
    http://www.nytimes.com/2011/04/20/arts/design/wildenstein-art-gallery-is-beset-by-lawsuits.html?pagewanted=all

    Reading these articles should bring the new collector aware that even in the most trustworthy cercles you can lose a lot of money.
    It is definitely worth to spend a % of what you want to spend on a painting to be sure that everything clean.
